About Us

Play It Again Instruments is a music mission that aims to get quality, preowned instruments into the hands of others who share a goal of spreading joy through music throughout the world.
Our mission was inspired by a young, talented musician named A.J Ferreira, born in May of 1989. A.J’s love of music started at a young age and he quickly became proficient playing the guitar. At the age of 15, he was accepted to Berkley College of Music in Boston, MA where he majored in guitar performance. He then attended Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA where he excelled in audio engineering. Upon graduation, AJ continued to perform and create music. He played a multitude of instruments, expressing his love of music.
Through life’s circle of happiness and sadness, good times and hard times, AJ’s life on this earth came to an abrupt end, at the young age of 33. As much as the soul and spirit of AJ live on, so will his love of music live on as well.
AJ’s wish for others is our goal: to make sure his instruments of music, and those of others, can be placed in the hands of people who will play on. In concert we say, “Music with all its subtlety, has immense power to unite people, spread love, and to bring peace in the world”.

It was delivered by Grace Fellowship Church in Florida during their recent Missions Trip to Honduras. Having lost his wife less than a year ago, Hector has found that playing the guitar and teaching others, brings him a new sense of Joy in spite of his loss. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Psalm 100:1
